A Sound, A Cycle:
This week's show was based primarily off of three songs that I've been into--
"The High Road" by Broken Bells
"Lives" by Modest Mouse (I like the Pokemon background for this song. HOT!)
"She's Got My Number" by Semisonic
Sometimes, I love having an iPod where I don't know a good portion of the music. When I put it on shuffle, it's like a really good radio station. It plays things I love, things I'm getting into, and music that I've never heard before but definitely love. Except when it decides to play facking John Mayer. I hate it when it does that and it makes me want to kill it.
Anyway, these three songs have been my current favorites, so I simply tried to make a playlist that flowed with these songs. It was a lot harder that I expected because all three songs have such different quirks to them and I wasn't prepared for them. But I think it turned out alright--could be refined, not as seemless as I would like it to be, but it's got some new music for me and you to find more out about.
I almost decided to play a mix of Halloween music to draw out yesterday's awesomeness, but I decided against it for all of your sake. You can thank me with Halloween candy and hugs!
